Plant List

The Foothill Cottage Gardens Plant List details perennials that are deer resistent, as well as many other perennials suitable fot the Sierra foothills.

The characteristics and cultural requirements of each one are listed in the Plant List, including (see sample of Plant List below): botanical & common names description (height, spread, flower color, foliage color, and other important characteristics) sun level (on a scale of 1 to 5, ranging from full sun to full shade) deer-resistance rating irrigation level required whether the plant is suitable for rock gardens or containers, and whether the plant is an evergreen or not.
