Perennial Plant Association*
The current bulletin of the PPA promises a web site with more information soon. PPA hosts an annual symposium with educational programs and field trips for the perennial grower or designer, and publishes the proceedings from each symposium. An excellent organization! I've been a member since 1986.

Sierra Heritage
A high quality magazine with history, gardening, photography and more, all concerning the Sierras. Beautifully written and illustrated. Check out the March issue for a history of FCG.
